God – I know there are times in my life when what I want is not what You want for me. Selfishly, I want my will to be done, not Yours. When I hear others express opinions which strongly differ from mine, I want them to agree with my earthly wisdom and not readily consider what Your eternal truth might be.
We should all prayerfully consider what Your will or plan is for us and others. Please help us not to stand in your way. When we get out of Your way, innumerable and unexpected blessings occur. Walking that path of Thy will being done, we will surely find ourselves at the end of our lives facing Your Son, the Risen Christ. Then, we will not be able to stand in Your way. We will never lack faith in Your plan for us-for we will have become part of Your eternal, everlasting love. Amen
