Prayer to Be One with God, One with Love – January 19, 2018

God – As with all Your children, I have had the opportunity for my heart to be pointed to You through prayer.   I have had the invitation to see You face-to-face in the darkness in experiencing illnesses, losses or wounds in my life or in witnessing the suffering of others.   Your Son, Jesus, came face-to-face with You in the solitude of prayer in the desert and in witnessing the mistreatment, lack of compassion and care of the people by the self-righteous religious order of His time.

Lord, please help me to be one with You and Your Love Your Son, Jesus, represented to the world.  May my prayers, thoughts, words and deeds always reflect Your Love and Light to others. Like Your Son, Jesus, may I be Your ministry of healing and forgiveness to others.  Amen

God – Today I pray that You be One with me and I be one with You. For at that holy place, I can see Your face. I can love and be loved.  I can fulfill the purpose for which You created me and all Your children–to be Your inexhaustible love and Christ’s everlasting light to all creation.  Amen
